Twice Emmy and Grammy nominated Music Supervisor, Nora Felder’s tenure in music began with booking artist events at a New York City downtown club, from the Cure to INXS. Nora transitioned into the world of television by procuring songs and soundtrack albums for Showtime’s critically acclaimed series Californication. Mercurial and masterful, Meshell Ndegeocello eschewes genre for originality, celebrity for longevity, and musical trends for musical truths. She has lived through the boom and bust of the industry and emerged just as she entered: unequivocally herself. A bass player above all else, Meshell has been nominated for ten Grammy awards and appeared alongside the Rolling Stones, Madonna, Alanis Morrisette, Tony Allen, John Medeski, Billy Preston, and Chaka Khan. Meshell was the first woman featured on the cover of Bass Player Magazine and remains one of few women who write the music, sing the songs, and lead the band.
