This three-day event provides a unique platform to access domestic and global markets through the expertise of our guest speakers plus an opportunity for our delegates to meet and foster working relationships with their peers. The ever-popular New Filmmakers’ Day (NFD), returns again on September 30 to cater specifically to emerging writers, producers and directors of film and television, with a reception to follow. We are proud to say that NFD, the only event of its kind in Canada and a SRO event, is exciting and inspiring for both local and visiting filmmakers alike.

Industry Hour makes its debut during this year’s forum and festival at the Vancouver International Film Centre. This is an ideal opportunity for the local film and television community to meet with international festival and forum guests in a relaxed atmosphere throughout the festival, Sept. 27 – October 14, 5pm to 6:00 pm daily.
