Welcome to the 20th Annual Film and Television Trade Forum (September 28 - 30), a series of panel discussions, master classes/workshops, tête-à-tête sessions and contests geared to the professional development of the Canadian film and television community. This three-day event provides a unique platform to access domestic and global markets through the expertise of our guest speakers plus an opportunity for our delegates to meet and foster working relationships with their peers. Looking for that elusive co-production partner or trying to create the next Da Vinci's inquest ? Then come to the Trade Forum and find out how!

The ever-popular New Filmmakers' Day (NFD), returns again on October 1 to cater specifically to emerging writers, producers and directors of film and television, with a reception to follow. We are proud to say that NFD, the only event of its kind in Canada and a SRO event, is exciting and inspiring for both local filmmakers and our visiting guest speakers.

In 2005 the Trade Forum celebrates its 20th anniversary and the opening of the new state-of-the-art Vancouver International Film Centre and Vancity Theatre (www.vifc.org) A big thank you to all our sponsors who’ve supported us throughout the years!
