Every year the Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF) hosts one of the largest cultural events in the country. Close to 150,000 tickets are sold for this annual celebration of film. Luckily for film fans the closing party no longer signifies the end of festival fare. Year round the luxurious Vancity Theatre at the Vancouver International Film Centre screens some of the best festival-style films from around the world. VIFF’s renowned programming team present unique, relevant and entertaining films that might otherwise not be screened in Vancouver.

In addition to being home to VIFF and presenting year-round programming at the Vancity Theatre, The Vancouver International Film Centre is also available for rent to individuals and organizations.

From the ultra-comfortable seats with exceptional legroom, to the state-of-the-art projection and sound equipment, the Vancity Theatre at the Vancouver International Film Centre has been designed to dazzle. Come enjoy exceptional cinema on the big screen, the way it was meant to be seen.
