VIFF Industry Exchange Day 1 Schedule

VIFF Industry Exchange Day 2 Schedule

VIFF Industry Exchange (VIE) is the only Canadian marketplace of its kind devoted specifically to digital online content. This two-day track will feature network executives, platforms, distributors, brands and agencies shaping the future of the online entertainment ecosystem. VIE is designed to educate, inspire, stimulate and to provide as many opportunities as possible for our attendees to make valuable connections and establish business relationships. This brand spanking new program will include a number of core tracks:

Fireside Chats & Keynotes

1:1 conversations with the most influential people in online entertainment. Conversations are designed to help producers and creators hone their knowledge in the production of content that is viable and sustainable on digital platforms. Speakers will touch on a range of subjects from digital-first strategies to fan engagement, branded entertainment and millennial audiences.

Buy-Side Briefings

Intimate, no nonsense sessions presented from buyers and commissioners with an appetite for digital content. Understand their programming tastes and priorities, plans for the year ahead and upcoming opportunities.

VIE | VIFF Interactive Exchange

Build connections and forge beneficial business relationships. Registered attendees will be invited to book one-on-one meetings with digital mentors, buyers, commissioners, broadcasters, distributors and funders and to become part of BC’s first marketplace for digital online programming.

VIE Salons

Expect to engage in real dialogue around pivotal industry issues with some of the best thought leaders in North America. Salons focus on presenting guided debates around select topics and encourage an interactive, free-flowing discussion not just between industry experts, but audience members as well (submit topic here).
