Rita Hsiao

Rita Hsiao’s work on Disney’s feature animation Mulan and Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story 2 earned her Annie Awards for Outstanding Writing in animation. Rita has also rewritten numerous successful live-action films for Will Smith, Kevin James, Amy Adams, Susan Sarandon and Jennifer Garner. She started out by writing tv pilots and being on the staff of half-hour sitcoms, including All-American Girl starring Margaret Cho. Rita is currently working on the sequel to Disney’s Enchanted, starring Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey, and is set to write a fantasy adventure for Skydance Productions.
