Jesse James Miller
Title: Writer/Director, Becoming Redwood
Jesse is a multi-award winning Writer/Director who has worked on both sides of the border over the past decade in fiction and non-fiction. Jesse recently finished writing and directing his feature film Becoming Redwood as well as the feature documentary The Good Son “The life of Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini (2012 Hamptons International Film Festival). Recently Jesse wrote and directed the award-winning documentary My American Exodus (VIFF, OIFF, DOC CITY DOCFEST) and was nominated as Best Director for the critically acclaimed feature documentary Uganda Rising (Discovery Times). He directed the feature film The Seamstress (Lance Hendriksen), helmed the pilot presentation piece Captain Starship (Paul Lance Hendriksen) and is currently directing commercials for Lancaster Vintage.
