Lori Lozinski
Lori Lozinski is a Vancouver based producer devoted to making
unconventional and in your face female centric films that
offer alternative and amusing views of the world. She recently
completed Producing the animated 13-part series PUCCA
II for Jetix UK and Studio B Productions, and the live
action feature film Sheltered Life funded by Telefilm
and BC Film that was invited to Perspective Canada - Cannes
and the Atlantic Film Festival. Lori is in development on
the feature film Kunoichi (Canada/Brazil co-pro),
Martin Novotny (Canada/Mexico co-pro), Frozen
Milk and Jenny Two Bears with funding by Corus
Entertainment. She is an alumni of Norman Jewison’s
Canadian Film Centre and continues to develop feature length,
television, documentary and animation programming through
her company Violator Films Inc.
In 2004, she Associate Produced the feature length drama
The Score for CBC’s Opening Night with screenings
at the Vancouver International Film Festival 2005, INPUT-Taipei
and nominated at the Banff World Television Festival 2006.
Lori additionally Associate Produced the TV Movie LUNA:
Spirit of the Whale in 2006 with Screen Siren Pictures
for CTV, APTN and Peace Arch Entertainment that has screened
at Sprockets Toronto International Film Festival for Children,
Oulu International Children’s Festival, Dreamspeakers
Aboriginal Film Festival and won the audience award at the
Mill Valley Film Festival. Lori has additionally produced
several short films including My Old Man, an adaptation
from a Charles Bukowski poem that screened at the Toronto
International Film Festival in 2005, Dirty Dog for
the NFB and Bravo!Fact that was a part of the Art of Seduction
series that won best mobile content at the 2007 Banff World
Television Festival and The Flying Lion for Bravo!Fact that
recently screened at the Vancouver International Film Festival,
Whistler Film Festival and is included in the short film market
at Clermont-Ferrand 2008.
