Chris Haddock
Chris Haddock is the President of Haddock Entertainment and the creator, writer, and executive producer of: Da Vinci’s Inquest, Da Vinci’s City Hall, Intelligence, and The Life. In 2001, Haddock was honoured with the triple crown in Canadian television; winning Gemini Awards for Best Dramatic Series, Best Writing and Best Direction for Da Vinci’s Inquest. To date Haddock has received over two-dozen Gemini nominations and has been awarded six Gemini’s for Best Writing.
Most recently, Haddock wrote and executive produced the series Intelligence for CBC, a dramatic law enforcement series investigating Canadian criminal and Intelligence service realities. Intelligence stars Ian Tracey as Jimmy Reardon, the head of a third generation west coast crime family, and Klea Scott as Mary Spalding, the director of Vancouver’s Organized Crime Unit (OCU). Chris also executive produced and co-wrote The Life, a TV movie for CTV starring Bruce Greenwood as a police officer who struggles to help drug-addict residents in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
In 2003, Haddock created and executive produced the CBS series The Handler. The critically acclaimed series starred Emmy Award-winner Joe Pantoliano as an FBI agent training and handling undercover agents in Los Angeles. Other writing credits include Airwolf, MacGyver, Diamonds, Night Heat, Mom P.I. as well as numerous other pilots and feature scripts for Warner Bros, Fox, ABC and Showtime.
