David Brady
David Brady is Co-founder and Executive Producer at Cream
Productions in Toronto. Cream Productions is a leader in the
field of factual entertainment, bringing unique experience
and decades of combined experience together to produce world-class
programming for distinguished international clients.
A creative and entrepreneurial producer, David has over 16
years of experience within the film and television industry.
While working in both dramatic and documentary genres David
has developed, financed and produced a large array of high-end
international projects. In 1996, he co-founded the Toronto-based
production company, Brilliant Corner Productions where he
was at the helm of a number of successful television projects
including the critically acclaimed series In the Key of
Eh and Jazz Renaissance. In 1998, David took part in
a two-person, 30-day expedition to South Georgia Island in
Antarctica where he directed the documentary South Georgia:
An Antarctic Oasis. After joining Cinenova Productions
he developed and produced a number of films including Shipwreck,
Treasure and Survival for National Geographic
Channel US and History Channel Canada. In 2003, David co-founded
Cream and has since concentrated on expanding the company
into the international marketplace including forging some
recent strategic treaty co-production relationships. At Cream,
David overseas the A-Z - development, financing and producing
- of all of Cream's output and spearheads the business development
of the company. Cream's clients include Discovery Channel
Canada/US/International, National Geographic Channel, History
Television, BBC, Plant Green, History UK, ZDF, Mediaset, Military
Channel, Science Channel, Channel 5, France 5, ProSieben,
Animal Planet, History US, CBC, OLN and more. He is also the
co-founder of Survivor Man Productions Inc. and, as executive
producer and producer, is behind the series Survivor Man,
one of Discovery US's recent breakout hits. Other production
credits include: The Dugout, Aftermath: Population Zero,
1917: The Missing, Mean Green Machines, The Real Treasure
Island, The Science of Interrogation, Mean Machines I and
II, U-864: Hitler's Last Deadly Secret, Digging up the Trenches,
Real Vampires, Protestant Revolution, San Francisco's Great
Quake and Artillery Games.
