Simon Barry

Simon is one of Canadas busiest writers. After several years of production work as an assistant cameraman, he temporarily relocated to Los Angeles to give screenwriting his full attention.

Since then, Simon has written for Warner Bros, Columbia Pictures, Fox, Working Title, Phoenix Pictures, CBS, Spelling, USA Network, A&E and Alliance Atlantis on a variety of film and television projects encompassing all genres. His credited and un-credited work includes The Art of War, I know what you did last Summer 3, Formula 51, Shake Hands with the Devil and Deep Blue Sea.

Simon recently completed screenplays for DreamWorks, Universal Pictures and Vancouver-based BrightLight Pictures.

He is currently writing a TV pilot for FX Network and preparing to direct his debut feature, Occupational Hazards.
