DOC DAY
Wednesday, September 26

9:00 – 10:30 am Viral Marketing and Digital Distribution (FTV02)

In a world hurtling towards brevity, how will social issue documentaries, environmental exposés or in-depth character pieces fare? Long form documentaries give filmmakers the opportunity to delight the senses with artful form, mine the depths of an issue, or allow characters to reveal themselves slowly. Our panel of international funders and commissioning editors are committed to ensuring their ongoing support of this vital form and, in this session, will discuss a range of films that inspire and excite them.
