ORDERING ONLINE - THE BASICS

To order tickets online for a film begin by searching the online film guide for the film of your choice. On the film page you'll see a "Buy" button beside each screening option. Once you click the button for your desired screening,  you'll be taken to the VIFF ticketing site where you can purchase tickets, memberships and passes.

ADVANCE TICKETS

Advance tickets can be purchased up to 1 hour prior to showtime, online, by phone or in person, at any of these locations and times.

Box Offices open 30 minutes before the first show of the day at each venue and remain opens until the last screening of the day.  Click on venue name to see a google map.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• There is a $1 service charge per ticket ordered on-line or by phone.
• Refund Policy - All sales are final. VIFF only offers refunds in cases of technical failure.
• Exchanges - Tickets may be exchanged up to one hour before screening time. There is a $3 service fee for each ticket exchanged. This must be done in person at any Box Office.
• Annual Membership ($2) is required by BC Law for any person attending VIFF screenings, and members must 18+. This enables VIFF, a registered nonprofit film society, to provide its members with the benefit of access to specially imported films. See Memberships for more information, and for details on the few exceptions such as films that are rated for youth under 18.

WHAT'S NEW THIS YEAR?

PRINT AT HOME + SMART PHONE TICKET DELIVERY:

To enhance your festival experience, VIFF is pleased to announce the added convenience of these self-delivery options. Advance Tickets can now be purchased up to one hour prior to showtime and conveniently delivered to your email for printing or to your smart phone mobile device.Please present your Print at Home ticket or Smart Phone Display at entry to the venue, where the barcode will be verified. VIFF membership must also be presented.

EXPANDED WILL CALL: Advance Ticket purchasers will enjoy the added flexibility of picking up WILL CALL tickets at any Venue Box Office during hours of festival operation.

MASTERCARD & DEBIT CARD: VIFF now accepts Visa and MasterCard everywhere, and debit cards in person.

PASS ENTRY TABLE: The Empire Granville Seven Cinema's central box offices replace last year's Pass Entry Table.

PICKING UP ADVANCE TICKETS

Will Call for Advance Ticket purchases online or by phone is available at all Box Offices during hours of operation. To avoid long lines, please take advantage of the "Print at Home" or "Smartphone Display" ticketing services. See "What's new this year?"

Please allow sufficient time to pick up your tickets before your screening; we suggest 30 minutes as a minimum. Please note that you must present the credit card used for purchase, VIFF Membership and valid ID each time you pick up an order. If you have your confirmation number ready it will help speed the line.

TICKETS AT THE DOOR

On the day of the show, advance tickets will be available from any box office up until one hour before the showtime. After that, tickets are only available at the door of the venue, subject to availability. Note that even when those tickets are sold out, rush tickets are often available.

SEEING TWO SCREENINGS IN A ROW?

If you have tickets to the next screening in the same venue, you may stay in your seat if you choose. Please ensure tickets to each screening you wish to attend are verified upon entry to the theatre.
