Jay Brazeau

Jay Brazeau is one of Canada’s most familiar faces on stage and screen. His theatre credits include The Producers, Fiddler on the Roof, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, Brighton Beach Memoirs and dozens of other plays. According to the Internet Movie Database, he has appeared in 223 (!) roles on film and television. He is the recipient of numerous awards and is a member of the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame. He is also a bit of a jokester: when asked what he would like to see in his bio, his response was, “Ask around…”

       
     

Anne Émond


Montreal-based filmmaker Anne Émond has written and directed seven shorts and one feature film since graduating with a Bachelor Degree in Film Production from UQAM (L'Université du Québec à Montréal). Her first feature, Nuit #1, won the Shaw Media Award for Best Canadian Feature Film at the 2011 Vancouver International Film Festival as well as the Claude Jutra Award at the 2012 Genies. Anne Émond’s cinema explores the depths of the human soul. Love, death, youth and loneliness are the core of her work.

       

 
   

Claudia Mendoza

Carruth
Colombian-American Claudia Mendoza-Carruth is a seasoned multicultural communications professional and media personality in radio, television and print. After creating the diversity media relations program at California's Pacific Gas & Electric Company, her career evolved into creating bridges between Latino and Anglo cultures. Having served as a board member of the San Francisco Latino Film Festival and a juror for New American Media's 2012 Ethnic Media Awards, Claudia recently programmed La Quinceañera Film Fiesta, a collection of 15 Spanish-language films to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Sonoma International Film Festival.
