Advance Ticket Packs
The following discount packages offer savings and Advance tickets guarantee seating up until show time.

Restrictions: Limit of 2 tickets per film. You must specify the films you wish to see at time of purchase , and purchase must be made by at least 7:00 p.m. the day before your first intended film. For the 20 & 30 ticket pack purchaser, up to 10 tickets may be left "un-chosen". You will be credited with ticket vouchers for the balance of your order. These vouchers may be redeemed at the box-office for any film at any time, subject to seat availability. Click here for information on picking up advance tickets.

10 Ticket Pack = $90
($9 per ticket. Advance tickets only)
20 Ticket Pack = $170
($8.50 per ticket. At least 10 tickets must be booked in advance)
30 Ticket Pack = $240
($8 per ticket. At least 20 tickets must be booked in advance)

Visa Screening Room Package
10 vouchers for $90
Purchaser will receive 10 vouchers that can be exchanged on the day of the screening at the Visa Screening Room @ at the Empire Granville 7 Cinemas. Passes are numbered and there is a two-coupon-per-pass-per-screening limit. The vouchers are valid for any screening at the Visa Screening Room, including Special Presentations, but excluding Gala Screenings.

Student Advance Ticket Package
5 films for $40.00 - Limit of 1 ticket per film.

Admission to VIFF screenings (unless specifically noted) is limited to those over 18 years of age holding a valid VIFF membership card ($2.00). Please see info on "Annual Membership Fee".

What's the best deal for me?

TICKETS are best if you want to keep it simple or just want to attend a few films. Advance tickets guarantee seating up until show time.

ADVANCE TICKET DISCOUNT PACKAGES offer savings and are best if you want to attend many films and are able to decide on most of your titles ahead of time. The more you buy, the better the deal. Advance tickets guarantee seating up until show time.

PASSES are best if you want maximum flexibility to see as many films as possible and don't mind taking your chances on available seats. (If you work during the day, Advance Ticket Discount Packages might be your better option.) Platinum Passes are ideal if you want the best of all worlds, and are willing to pay for it.

The 2008 Visa Advance Box Office is open noon-7pm at the Vancouver International Film Centre for Visa sales. A second Visa Advance Outlet is now open at the Empire Granville 7 Cinemas. Gala packages are also available for puchase at the Visa Charge-by-Phone line (604) 685-8297.

There will be a $2.50 service charge per "Will Call" order.

Please note: No refunds or exchanges can be given, except in the case of a program cancellation or under the following circumstance: Exchanges can be made for a $2.50 handling charge per ticket up to 7:00 pm the day before a ticket-holder’s first screeninin person. Exchanges can be only made at an Advance Ticket Outlet.

Important: In the event of a refund, you will be required to show your ticket stub.
